Carnaval (Carnival)

It rests on a magnetic idea, the strength of disguise in a day-to-day space, and it builds assuming the fictitious to be real, transforming shapes and objects into evocative images, criss-crossed stories follow on from each other and become involved with two philosophical concepts, Good and Evil, with a silent chorus to bear witness, and three protagonists who pour out their human essence.

Carnaval (Carnival) arose from a commission for the 2013 Fira Tárrega and was wholly created in the CDC Teatros del Canal in Madrid.
